It's one of those days

Yup.

It's a cool rainy afternoon. It's been raining pretty much constantly for the last couple of days. Almost a week now and that sucks. Although the sun did come out Monday evening for my birthday. Made a pitfire in my yard and cooked me up a couple tube steaks with some cheese and mustard...yummy!!! :)P Last night I had my first Taekwondo lesson and it went well. Our class will be a little larger this year. It's always nice to have new faces in the class. Back to today.

Today started like most days do. The cat meowing at the sliding door to come in after a night out on the town. The dogs waiting for me to feed them and play with them a little. I did all this before 6:30am (the cat unfortunately, has no grasp of time) so I decided to lie back down for 15-30 mintues with my wife before getting up to take a shower. Well, when I rolled over to see what time it was, I was pleasently surprised to see the clock at 10:45. Wow, I had slept another 4 hours and nobody from work had called to ask why I was late. I rarely sleep in past 7:30am. I knew this meant I could show up to work around 1pm and be ok as we were likely not too busy today.

So I got up, took a shower and prepared a baked dish to throw in the oven for lunch. Went and woke up my wife with the nicest of whispers and then cuddled with her some more. We got up and had lunch and a coffee. It was a pretty good lunch and I will have leftovers for supper. I took off for work. When I go there I had about an hour of work to do. Got it done. Had another coffee and spent the last couple of hours reading posts on the internet.

Like I said, days like this are lots of fun because I usually end up doing nothing and still feel pretty good about my day.

Well, I know this post is pretty pointless but I'm just passing the time.
